Getting started with your AH Project
While the project demonstrates your ability at AH level, it is a good idea to investigate existing projects and think about ideas now.
Watch the video describing the AH project, with examples
...
Complete the Jamboard attached during class and then use this to complete the task below.
Upload a single slide presentation which describes one project idea you might like to create. The presentation should include:
a short description of the project
a list of five to seven features you think should be in the project solution
You should also look at this document for other ideas:
https://www.sqa.org.uk/sqa/files_ccc/AH-computing-science-project-workbook-1.pdf
Using the crazy 8 document you created in class write a problem description for one of the three ideas that you selected.
Ensure that, where appropriate, you have referred to the AH major and minor guide and described how your project idea meets these minimum requirements.
Scope, boundaries and constraints
Using the information shared add to your project problem description to include details of scope, boundaries and constraints.
Share the document with your class teacher.
Functional and end-user requirements
Using the exemplars as a guide, add to your fictional project specification (or real one if you have been able to begin this) so that you are describing the functional and end user requirements for the project.
Remember that numbering / using codes for each requirement is really useful for the other sections of the project e.g. implementation and testing to show that you have covered every aspect of your analysis document.
